فروزاں انوائرمینٹل پروٹیکشن آرگنائزیشن نے ملیر یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی اور پاکستان واٹر پارٹنرشپ کے تعاون سے ملیر یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی کوہی گوٹھ میں پاکستان میں پانی کا انتظام اور تحفظ کے عنوان سے سردار محمد طارق “ہیڈ آف پاکستان واٹر پارٹنرشپ” کے ایک آگاہی خطاب کا اہتمام کیا۔

اس تقریب میں اسلام آباد کے آبی ماہر سردار محمد طارق کے علاوہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ٹیپو سلطان ملیر یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی کے چانسلر، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر یوسف میمن ملیر یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی کے وائس چانسلر ، محمود عالم خالد ایڈیٹر فروزاں میگزین، محمد اویس کنٹری ڈائریکٹر پاکستان واٹر پارٹنرشپ نے بھی پانی کی صورتحال کے مختلف پہلوؤں کو اجاگر کیا۔

پانی زمین پر زندگی کا ضامن ہے۔ انسانوں کو پینے، خوراک اگانے اور صفائی کے لیے پانی کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔ جانوروں کو زندہ رہنے کے لیے صاف پانی کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔ ہمارے ماحول کی صحت و بقا ہمارے پانی کے ذخائر سے منسلک ہے۔ پانی کے مسائل کے بارے میں تعلیم دینا، پانی کے تحفظ کے لیے اقدامات کرنا، اس بات کو یقینی بنانا کہ تمام لوگوں اور جانوروں کو صاف پانی تک رسائی حاصل ہو، اور پانی کے قدرتی وسائل کو بچانا اس آگاہی تقریب کے اہم موضوعات تھے۔

World Water Day 2023 is about accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis.
